Mitsubishi Power announced a $490 million expansion that would add 450,000 square feet to Savannah Machinery Works and more than 220 jobs.

Mitsubishi Power announced a $490 million expansion that would add 450,000 square feet to Savannah Machinery Works and more than 220 jobs.

The project would roughly double the plant's physical footprint and expand Chatham County's advanced power-equipment manufacturing base.
