Georgia Ports Authority says the $1.6 billion Ocean Terminal rebuild is now more than 60 percent complete. The full 2,650-foot berth is serving ships, and the new truck gate has 12 inbound and six outbound lanes. The 200-acre terminal is being expanded from 200,000 to 1.75 million annual container units, with the first yard phase due in fall 2027 and full completion expected by the end of 2028.
