Audi selected the Middle Georgia Megasite in Peach County for its first U.S. manufacturing plant, with an approximately $4 billion investment and 4,500 projected jobs. The statewide megaproject would add a major auto-manufacturing employer in Middle Georgia and is large enough to matter beyond its immediate site, while remaining outside the Savannah metro.
